One of my favorite things to read are biographies. People are fascinating to me. There are several blogs that I check regularly. I feel affirmed reading about other peoples/artists dailyness of life....the ups and downs, the creative process, the struggles...things we all experience but tend keep to ourselves.
As I begin this, let me tell you a little about myself. I've been an artist for 20 years. Started with calligraphy, over the years and many workshops later I work in mixed media. My goal is to work as a full-time artist. I am also a full-time receptionist at a brokerage firm. I've been married for 20 years to Paul, my best friend. He is incredibly supportive of my art, he travels to art fairs with me, helps set up-sits there all day-tears down. What a guy! I'm 48...soon to be 49. No kids, no pets. Hoping to get a ferret later this summer. About a year and a half ago, my friend Jae talked me into starting a blog of cool links after I sent many links her way, if you'd like to check it out go to chrisandjae.blogspot.com
My plan with this blog is to share my art and life, learn to express my feelings into words and learn how to set up this blog-post pictures-change the lettering on the banner and some of the other bells and whistles. (not terribly technosaavy) There you have it. 'til later!
